In September of 2005, The Board of Directors selected Mrs. Pamela Ogletree to assume the role as President & CEO. Mrs. Ogletree formerly worked as the Program Officer for B.E.L.L.’s Boston area programs. B.E.L.L. (Building Educated Leaders for Life) is a nonprofit providing tutoring and other educational services to children in Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. Prior to this role, she served as a founding member and interim Director of the Benjamin Banneker Charter Public School during its start up phase. She continues to serve as a Board member for the school which is now in its 11th year of operation. She served on the City of Boston’s School Readiness Action Planning Team. She is also a Board member for the Mass. Council of Human Service Providers and the Mass. Child Welfare League. Ms. Ogletree received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stanford University, an MBA from Simmons College Graduate School of Management and resides in Cambridge, MA.
