Children’s Services of Roxbury (CSR), operates a number of family oriented programs and provides a broad spectrum of high quality services and programs to economically disadvantaged infants, children, adolescents and their families, as well as homeless adults. CSR’s Scattered Sites Family Homeless Shelter Program currently assists approximately 310 youth of all ages of the 105 families that it serves. Many of our younger children will receive gifts this holiday thanks to "Toys for Tots". Year after year, many donors step forward to provide for children and heads of households, however, the teens are often the "forgotten" group. It has been found that teens are often especially impacted by homelessness.
