Housing Services

CSR provides guests with shelter, food and clothing in a manner consistent with the principles of dignity and compassion for the person.

Adult Shelter at Pilgrim Church—Located at 540 Columbia Road in Dorchester, this emergency, overnight shelter accommodates 124 chronically homeless men, many of whom are struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.

Emergency Housing for Families

CSR's Scattered Site Emergency Shelter program has provided transitional housing and assistance to homeless families referred to the program by the Department of Transitional Assistance.

Transitional Housing for Individuals

CSR's adult shelter and transition houses provide guests with food, clothing and shelter in a manner consistent with the principles of dignity, respect and compassion for the person.

Permanent Housing for Individuals

Cornerstone Community—This Single Room Occupancy (SRO) residential program in Cambridge, offers permanent and affordable housing to ten people of low-income.
